Relating Positively With Your Coworkers
You should be able to deal with your problem coworker or boss. To do this, start asking yourself what your goals are. What benefits would you derive from relating positively with your coworkers - be it your boss or others? It requires utilizing your emotional competencies or EQ (emotional intelligence), win-win negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Assess yourself first and be very honest. If you start to accept that you might have certain attitudes and behaviors that may have ticked off your coworkers, you are being proactive in initiating changes within. Who knows your actions may also lead another coworker to change?
